Gunmen shoot clergyman in Bayelsa community

Unknown gunmen have reportedly shot a pastor Ezekiel Obata, and abducted Duncan Eke, an engineer, in a Bayelsa state community during a recent raid.
According to Premium Times, the Police in the state revealed that Eke was abducted on Sunday, January 25, 2016 at Igbedi community in Kolokuma/Opokuma local government area of the state.
Unknown gunmen have reportedly abducted a pastor in Bayelsa state.
Asinim Butswat, the the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Bayelsa in an email, disclosed that the engineer, was kidnapped at about 12.40pm.
As at the time of filing the report, there were no details on the abduction, but the clergyman was confirmed to have been shot and injured during the attack.
It was also reported that the wounded clergy was taken to a clinic in Polaku and is said to be responding to treatment.
The police were also said to be intensifying effort to rescue the abducted engineer and arrest his abductors
